Nick grew up and was educated in Geelong, completed his medical training at the University of Melbourne in 2003. He opened this private practice in 2014 and since then has had ongoing appointments at both Geelong University Hospital  and St John of God Geelong. Nick is married with two children.

He was granted Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery in 2013, and completed an additional year of post fellowship training at Auckland City Hospital. This fellowship year gave Nick comprehensive additional training in both thyroid and parathyroid surgery,  as well as major head and neck cancer resections and reconstructions.

Nick’s main sub-specialty interests are the surgical management of hyperparathyroidism, thyroid disease, and the assessment and treatment of head, neck and laryngeal cancers. He very much enjoys caring for children and is happy to see patients with general ENT complaints such as adeno-tonillar disease, external and middle ear conditions, sinonasal and salivary gland pathology.

Of note Nick does not perform cosmetic rhinoplasty or cosmetic otoplasty.
